What an exciting evening we had last night! After watching Autumn the mama giraffe a lot all day, we thought she would have the baby soon! Sure enough, about 11pm I woke Sylvia up and Luka woke up after that because he was coughing a bit. We watched the entire labor and birth, about 2 hours of internet live webcam time. The baby is so cute, but we still dont know what it is or how big etc.

Math- lesson 29. filling in the missing addends. Did the timed test 4.2 and got it all done in just 58 seconds, got one wrong.

Monday, Oct 22
We are tired today from our trip, but plugging along fine. Started with Faith and Life- read ch 9 and also finished some of the workbook pages from last week.
Math- we actually got ahead in math last week by 1 lesson. Today we did the timed test 4.0, plus 2's. she got 21/25 finished w. 100% accuracy in 1 min 5 sec. Timed test 4.2, plus 1, plus 2, plus 0 and doubles, got 21/25 with 100% accuracy, this is good because there were mixed facts. The lesson for today was counting dimes and pennies, and we already know that so we skipped it and just worked on harder money. Also did timed test 5.1, doubles plus 1. worked on clocks and time, still half past, quarter til and quarter after.Did lesson 28 worksheet together. will do the second half for homework.
Spelling- We did our new spelling list and she wanted to do both activity pages
Grammar- we did page 14, using question marks.
Critical Thinking- she did 3 pages in the Mind Benders workbook.
Literature- Read the next story in the devotional stories.
We watched the giraffe cam on and off all morning too! We think the baby is coming soon, the zookeepers cleaned out her barn today!

Monday and Tues, October 15-17
Monday and Tuesday we got a lot done as we usually do. See planner for details. Wednesday was going to be a schoolday, but then the car wouldn't start since I left the radio running in it all night and killed the battery. Since noone went to preschool, we just packed up the car and left early for KY after Frank got home to jump the van. Even though we had full days of fun in KY with Renee, Dave and Gracie, we still accomplished our week of lessons including a very long and detailed lesson on how to read a highway/state map.

I didnt get a chance to do the blog last week, I'll give a quick update. Wednesday was milk pickup day and I also went to the eye doctor. In between, we had a full math lesson and reading too. Thursday we did our spelling test, 100%, worked on geography and our map for South America. We got all the pictures for animals of South America cut out and pasted on our page. We also looked at our book for the 3 children of S.A that we will read this week. Did a full math lesson and the next devotional story. We also reviewed the pages she missed from last weeks religious ed class since the tree people were at our house and she didnt get to go. Friday was a sick day, so we didnt have any actual lessons. Saturday was Roper Mountain Insect day, and I will make another blog about that with pics soon! Still 5 official school days count for this week since we went to Roper Mountain.
Today-
Opening prayers- we both officially know the entire student prayer by heart after 6 weeks of saying it. Sylvie learned it as of last week actually. We are now working on the St. Michael prayer and the act of contrition as well. We looked through the 2012 missal and talked about how we use it, what dates are important etc. We read Ch 8 of Faith and Life-the 10 commandments and reviewed the commandments for children.
Math- Did lesson 22. All about story problems. She is very bored with this and it is too easy. She was totally annoyed that we did 5 problems togther on the white board, and then she had to do 3 more in her workbook. Did fact test of plus 2, She got 15/25 on the plus 2 facts, but it is new and we didnt do them since last Thurs. We worked on time and money.
We took a snack break, then learned about Sugar Gliders because we met a lady at Roper Mountain who had one in her scarf. We learned about the word disaueding and drawbacks. We did some reasearch and found this information on Sugar Gliders-
Sugar Gliders . they sure are cute, but after reading about them, we don't think we would want one as a pet!
Spelling- sounds ending in er, er, y as EE. did page 1 of the lesson.
Grammar- worked on Before and After concept.
Map Skills- did page 9, understanding a map key
Did 1 handwriting lesson.

Thursday.
Started our day by going to the bank with a ton of cash to change to 100s to pay the tree men that our at our house taking down trees as we speak. The teller lady was very impressed at how Sylvie counted all the cash out into 100s. She talked us into coming back on Monday to sign up for a free kid account.
Got home and watched the tree guys for a while, it is amazing how the guy climbs all the way up this huge tree. It is very distracting while we are trying to work and not run to the window each time a huge branch falls and booms on the ground! Practicing the virtue of temperance!
Faith and Life- We read about St. Sylvia! we played Jeopardy with our Mass vocabulary words and she did GREAT! our words are: sanctuary lamp, examination of conscience, original sin, sacrament, sacrafice, "house of bread", Amen, martyr, tabernacle, Bible, genuflect, Mary, chalice, alleluia, angel, Our Father, monstrance, grace, prayer.
Math- meeting strip. Lesson 18. more work on even and odds to 20, counting up and down. Still need practice on this! Also counted up from 103 to 122 while writing down the numbers. Reviewed geometric shapes: hexagon, triangle, square, circle, parallelogram and trapezoid. Worked on fractions with the shape blocks 1/2, 1/3, and 1/4, and 1/6 seeing how they fit together on the shape pattern. Practiced doubles, timed test on 0, doulbes, and plus 1. Got 100% and 25/25 done in 55 seconds!
Spelling Test- 100% on test 5

Today we combined Faith and Life, first communion prep and and geography. We looked up some saints of North America- Our Lady of Guadalupe from Mexico, Bl. Kateri Takekati of US, and St. Anne of Beaupre of Canada. Read about them and put them on our map. We reviewed all about North America and wrote the names of the N.A. children we read about on our map too. We used the blow up globe from the NatGeo Kids magazine and wrote some of our places on there too. We also reviewed Sylvie's religious ed book chapters from last week and looked ahead to what she will learn for this week. Read about Simeon's prophecy for Jesus and Mary in the temple from Luke 2. Reviewed our mass vocabulary flashcards.

Tuesday, October 2.
Tuesday again. The rain seems to be stopping, but the preschool wont play outside because it has rained soooo much. Maybe we will go run around McDonalds playland today? Havent done that in a loong time and the kids (Luka) were asking about it.
Beginning prayers, then on to Faith and Life. Reviewed Ch 5, and finished the activity, then also read ch 6 on Baptism since baby Jude Hyland is going to be baptised this weekend! Did the activity on ch 6 also which was fill in the blanks about baptism and Adam and Eve.
Math- meeting book activities. Reviewed clocks, not so great today on one hour from now and one hour ago. Will have to do more tomorrow. Filled in our favorite day of the week chart from everyones responses from yesterday and asked comparison questions about it. Did plus 0 math facts test and got 100% in 38 seconds! whoohoo! Did worksheet 16 A together. Worked on time and money flashcards.
Spelling- worked on the next page of the lesson, how want sound like WONT with an o, but is spelled WANT. verbal quiz on some of the other words.
Grammar- reviewed phrases and complete sentences. Did page 10.
Literature- Read Cecelia Eating Blackberries and answered critical thinking questions. These are SUCH great stories!!
Geography- worked on our map of North America. Added landmarks- Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls and the shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico. We watched short clips online about each place and a 7 min video of the story of Juan Diego that was review for Sylvie since it is one of her favorite stories. Check it out here:
Our Lady of Guadalupe 7 minute video. Watch til the end for the info of scientific study on the tilma!
It is also true that in the immediate years following this apparition, nearly the entire country of Mexico was converted. Also, when Hillary Clinton came to the shrine on some government lets-make-nice-with-the-Catholics visit a few years ago, she had the bishop showing her around and giving her a tour. She asked him "Who painted that?" in reference to the tilma/cloak. He looked at her with amazement and hopefully not much disdain and simply said "God." I mean, I am not buddist, but if i was a high ranking official visiting a buddist temple, I would have done my homework to look at least informed of the basic facts of the place. Seeing the miracle of the tilma is the entire reason people go to the shrine, and she didn't know that main fact of how the tilma came to be? Wow. Anyway off my political horse, I am annoyed the government is currently impeding the right to vote absentee by our oversees soldiers. Needed to vent. Done! =)

Sc Farm Day
Monday, October 1.
Welcome to October! From now on I am not going to type in our general intro because we always do the same thing: student's prayer, everyday blessings, and looking up the chapter and verse that goes along with it.
Today we reviewed ch 5 on Angels, and Adam and Eve and did the worksheet in the actvitity book. Reviewed all the questions from all the other chapters too. Reviewed our Mass flashcards.
Math- worked on Lesson 15. New meeting book page for October! Sylvie marked this day as COLD, the first time she has written cold in so far. Counted forward and backward. Did written assesment #2. Scored 100% in about 5 min time. We texted a bunch of people to find out their favorite day of the week so we can fillin our favorite day chart tomorrow! Did Fact quiz sheet 2.2 which is doubles and plus 1's. Got 100% accuracy and 24/25 in 1 min! I think this is great since she spend 3 seconds on the last fact and should have done it and also that it is Monday and we hadnt reviewed much over the weekend! We did worksheet 15 A together and she will do the 15B for homework. Also worked on money and time flashcards. Worked on counting by 10s for dimes and quarter past and quarter 'til.
Spelling- new spelling list this week. Blends of Sh and Nt words. She took her time and did excellent handwriting on the activity page.
Grammar- Worked on sentence parts. We connected the sentence parts to make a whole sentence.

September 27th
We read chapter 5 on Angels since we just had the Archangels feast day a few days ago. Vocab words, original sin, angels, devil, offend. Worked on the St. Michael prayer again. Reviewed the vocab cards and got most right this time. Wrote down the words "examination of conscience" because that is a hard one!
Math- meeting book, date, weather, time, pattern, days until Kentucky are 19! Whoohooo! Counted by ones forward and backward, then by 10 and 5s also. Worked on counting by 3s on the white board so she can see the pattern of it. Sang it too to the schoolhouse rock Cd. Going to try to find that at the library today if we can get there. Did a practice page of plus 1 facts page. I copied it and did with with her to show her how fast she will be able to do it someday. Then practiced plus 0 on the whiteboard. Took the plus 0 test- got 100% 25/25 at 39 second. She is definitley happy with that! Did the homework page 13. Practiced money with coins too. Wrote down how 25+25=.50, then added .25 to get .75, then added .25 to make $100. Did A LOT of math practice today. Total math time overall is 1 hr 15 min.
Spelling- gave week 4 test. Mixed up b and d, but then immediately saw it and fixed it. nice handwriting! Got 100%
Worked on typing for 20 min.
Independent reading- since last week Sylvie has Magic Schoolbus Expedition Down Under, 90 pgs, Ramona and her Father, 175 pgs, Ramona Quimby, Age 8 175 pgs, and Junie B. Today is the every other Wednesday milk pickup/Costco trip. Usually we get an hour of work done at home first, but today we went to the hospital to meet new baby Jude Hyland! So cute and super excited for them all. We did listen to the Math Facts music in the car and got to milk pickup early. There, we did our Mass Objects game and then Sylvie read more for geography- North American kids. Friday is a free day for co-op (no coop) so we will do our math lesson that day and anything else we need to catch up on then.

September 25
Elyse and Luka both headed to school today since she is feeling better.
Started off Student prayer, everyday blessings, and ch and verse. We re-read our memory gems from all the previous weeks and did great! Reviewed our faith and life worksheet from yesterday. Wrote the answers to our Bible quiz game on the backs of the cards so they are all set to play. Worked on memorizing the St. Michael prayer and the act of contrition and talked about all the vocabulary.
Math- meeting book, weather date, year etc. counted forward and backward, by 1s, 5s, 10 from 1-100. Learned to count by 3's by singing the schoolhouse rock 3's song. Wrote the multiples of 3 on the board, up to 60 and found the pattern of how it works.
Worked on time today per the lesson. One hour from now, one hour ago etc. using real life activities we do at home. Noticed how on the clock face we are counting by 3s. Syvlie likes to make square numbers when she writes digital time. It's kinda cute but also a little annoying because it is time consuming. Did the math facts time sheet for plus one numbers. she didnt want to review the facts, just wanted to take the test because it was going to be so EASY! She got 24/25 in 1 min with 100% accuracy. We did worksheet 12A together and took a break. She will do the homework at rest time.
We took a fast walk around the short loop in our neighborhood today for break time.
Map Skills- figured out bigger or smaller than and near and far from. Super easy and fun!
Spelling- we worked on half of the worksheet together, and she will do the rest of it for rest time with the math page. Promised to write it extra neatly so it will count for handwriting practice for today too.
Devotional Story- Mold, Maggots and Cow Manure- interesting title! All about the "yucky" things that God has made for our good- mold= penicillan, maggots used in science and manure as fertilizer.
Recorder- reviewd the quarter note, half note and learned beats and measure. We played note B and worked on the activities. Then we learned A and reviewed where A and B are on the lines. We also just barely learned the whole note before we had to stop to get the kids from preschool. When I learned music, it was Every Good Boy Does Find-, well, now it is Enormous Green Boots Don't Fit, and still FACE, which I guess is so easy to remember it couldn't be beat. Starting to get tricky, playing both notes A and B in quarter notes, half notes and now whole notes.
Here is some of Sylvie's recent artwork:

Elyse probably could've gone to school today, but in keeping with the 24 hour fever-free rule, I kept her home. She was fine by naptime yesterday w. out motrin, so that is good that she seems to be on the mend and didnt get the long illness I heard about that is going around. She is happily coloring and stickering here with us, let's see how long it lasts.
We read our student prayer and today's devotional and looked up the actual verse in the bible. learned the definition of hospitality.
We reviewed liturgical objects (alter, stained glass windows, baptismal font, sanctuary light, confessionals etc.)
Math- I had her seperate all the cash I earned this weekend working into the correct denominations. Then we counted it and wrote it down on paper in the correct columns so we could add it up. She did great remembering how to carry the one into the hundred column. Then we seperated it into 100's and put it in the envelope for the bank. Great practical math. Also did the lesson 11 and the timed doubles test. Even though she practiced doubles a lot last week, she still is not quite fast enough yet. Got 18/25 done at 1 minute with 100% accuracy. Will will continue to review!
We finished the grammar page from yesterday. Capitals and titles of respect.

Sunday, September 23
Yes, It is Sunday, but since Elyse woke up with a 102 fever this morning, she will not be going to preschool tomorrow. I am not sure what kind of academics will will accomplish with her around, so getting a head start today during her nap. Not sure how much we will get done today either, because I worked late last night and got up at 645am for bible study and Mass, and I work tonight too, so definitely need to nap!
Luka is working with us today, might as well. Started same way as usual, Student prayer, everyday blessings and story, chapter and verse and reviewed all questions from Faith and Life q 1-9.. Even without Luka ever hearing the chapters before he got most of each answer correct! We watched the AllThings video again so Luka could see it. Reread chapter 4 out loud to Luka. Did the activitity book for Ch 4 together.
Moved on to spelling. Sylvie worked on the worksheet and Luka wrote some of the words.
Grammar- full sentences and punctuation. Did half of the page. will finish the rest tomorrow.
Read deviotional stories - Church Picnic.
That's it for today! Naptime!

Happy Wednesday!
Started off with the students prayer and everyday blessings. Read the final chapters in Little Acts of Grace- the first communion preparation program. She is going to color her prayer chart, do the actviity about objects at Mass and color the manners chart too.
Math- meeting book, weather, date, pattern. Counting forwards and backwards. worked on pattern blocks and covering them with matching pattern blocks. Worked on basic fractions with the blocks, 1 whole, 1/2, 1/3 2/3 3/3 etc. She did good at this. Next I had her write all the doubles number sentences horizontally on the white board since we have been doing a lot vertically recently. 1+1=2, 2+2=4, etc. then we played Jeopardy- i gave her the answer and she had to tell me the number sentence for her doubles. This was hard! We will do it again tomorrow. Next, we worked on plus one math facts. We did the +1 timed test on page A.20. She got 17/25 finished with 100% accuracy in 1 minute. We did Lesson9A together and she will do the 2nd half for homework at rest time.
Next she worked on spelling, then did the literature/reading devotional story- God's Big Family and answered the critical thinking questions. Then we worked on map skills, smaller and larger area maps and then made our own map of our house, then a zoomed in map of our school area (aka- dining room).
Grammar- free writing of sentences using capitals and proper punctuation. This is a big assignment!
We will finish off the day with practicing our recorder.
Now it's 1pm and Elyse is happily (shocker) in bed for her nap. I wonder how long she will play and if she will sleep. She is quiet, so I hope a nap it will be.
Sylvie is doing her aforementioned homework. Luka is trying to write down the 10 books he read yesterday in the book journal. I'm reading a few articles and keeping him on track.

September 18th
Happy Tuesday! Lots of laughter today already!
Usual beginning, prayers and daily kid devotion. See all pics for examples. (I update the pictures throughout the blog every other day or so, so check back a few posts for pics I may have added for previous days!)
Found chapter and verse and getting good at it! We went back to Ch. 1 in the Faith and Life and answered all the review questions from God the Father, the Trinity and this week's chapter on God the Creator. She knew them all. I think I will do these review questions like this (going back 3 or so chapters) every week just for reinforcement. We also listened/watched another YouTube video of All Things Bright and Beautiful. this is the one we watched today and like it best: AllThingsBrightandBeautifulVideo. We did the activity answers and she will do the coloring at rest time.
Math- did the meeting book, looked at birthdays, worked on patterns, I tried to make harder ones, but she is really good at it and I only stumped her once. Practiced counting forward and backward by ones and by tens to 100. She is getting better! We practiced her doubles to 20 again, and she really has gotten better due to all of our reviewing in the car and random times yesterday! She did the math facts doubles test, same one as yesterday, and got 21 out of 25 finished with 100% accuracy with only 1 minute given, whereas yesterday she got 16/25 finished with 14 accurate answers with 2 minutes given! Wahoooooo! We worked on the some, some more game with the shape tiles, adding more shapes to the "party" and writing down the addition as we went. Learned about carrying the one and she did great with that. Then we did about 8 money flashcards, again adding them up, but writing them down to "prove it". (We are headed to the post office and I will let her pay again with change, so I wanted to practice.) She is definitley better than last week!
We did the mind bender game- critical thinking skills. This was great fun and she did really well. I love leaving the subject when she wants to do more!
We also did one handwriting exercise- she took her time and did better than last week.
Next, she worked on Science- read the next chapter on wedge, screws and wheels. There was some surprising facts and made her laugh, so we will have fun reviewing it again tomorrow! She did the activity at the end of the chapter easily.
Finally, since our pizza Book-It coupons came we are writing down an official book it list towards earning a pizza. She read Fried Feathers for Thanksgiving while I typed this blog. Pictures to follow! Off to the post office to mail back Frank's guaranteed shoes for a replacement pair!

yes, this is messy, but look how great the math is! I had only planned to do one problem with her, but it turned into many!

I love Monday morning! Started as usual with the everyday blessings reading and found the chapter and verse in the Bible too. Read chapter 3 in Faith and Life, about God the creator. The poem All Things Bright and Beautiful is the main part of the chapter, so we read it and I quickly googled it. Sure enough, up pops a children's choir video of the song on YouTube! Then we went in to Elyse's room and read the same poem that is on her wall that Grandma Mary cross-stitched for Sylvia when she was a baby! Talk about lesson reinforcement! Reading, video on the internet and looking at the craft on her wall!! I LOVE this homeschool stuff just for that reason alone!!!
Song we watched
Math- worked on patterns, I just made up some and she finished them. This is easy for her, so I tried to make them difficult. We moved on to memorizing doubles, she still needs to memorize 6+6, 7+7, 8+8, 9+9. then we reviewed the easy math facts- (sums less than 10) using the triangle number family cards from Grandma. We did the test on page A1.2 and she got 16/25 correct. didnt get to finish 6 of them and missed 2. 8+8. Did worksheet 7A together and she will do the other side at rest time. Days of the week, ordinal numbers, writing one more, one less, digital time and some math facts.
Reading from Devotional Stories for Little Folks- Not "That" Sister. Learned that "love isn't how we feel, it is a way that we act."
A new spelling list! Some of these are harder so she is more excited about them. vowel e, blends of gl and cr. I gave her 3 minutes to do that 8 questions in the workbook to challenge it a bit more. mixed up her b and d in writing crib. immediately saw it and fixed it.
We had time for about 5 min of recorder, but will do more tomorrow.
Here is some artwork from preschool.
I think the ladybug in the grass is very clever!

Thursday, Sept. 13
Off to a good start today. I really do love mornings, it is my new favorite time of day! It is so peaceful and enjoyable to sit with a great cup of coffee and do school with Sylvie. I LOVE that we have faith studies everyday. We have 2 days of the faith and life workbook and 2 days of 1st communion preparation each week.
Today we started with the students prayer, read our Blessings everday book for Sept 13 and Sylvie looked up the chapter and verse from Romans. She is getting better at that. We read pages 22-33 in Little Acts of Grace. Next, Sylvie wrote on the back of the Guardian Angel picture for Ellie that we will mail today in hopes she will think of her as she goes to kindergarten. (I will let Sylvie pay for the postage with cash and count the change she gets as a real-world math lesson. Tomorrow at co-op, Sylvie has to give a presentation on the martyred saint that she chose for a tombstone for the church harvest festival. She chose St. Lucy who was a nun that died for Christ after being persecuted by a man that had wanted to marry her.
Literature- Devotional Stories for Little Folks- chapter 4, Child of the Promise- a nice story about the family adopting a 3yr old girl. Vocabulary words- covenant and adoption.
Break time- applesauce and jump rope and a hair do.
Math- Lesson 6- Got out the shape pattern blocks. talked about color, named the shapes and made a pattern. Did a timed test of doubles to 5. she got 20/20 correct out of 25 available questions in 1 minute. She stopped to erase 2 answers which slowed her down. Completed worksheet 6 together, she will do worksheet 6B at rest time independently. We still need to work on counting backwards a lot! Worked on the time flashcards- I added quarter past to the stack. Worked on looking at the clock- writingboth the digital time and then the words quarter past or half past.
Geography- North American animals. Cut out pics from the NatGeo kids and glued them on her map she made last week. Read about Taylor from NYC and Taryn from Illinios.

Sept 11 and 12
Tuesday, Luka and Elyse skipped pre-school and came with Sylvie and me to go up to the home where the Eisenmanns were staying while visiting here on vacation. Jessie homeschools Joseph and Caleb kindergarten materials, so Luka joined them and Sylvie and I did her usual work. We did math, reading, spelling, grammar and handwriting. It was good to see the younger curriculum for Luka for whenever I bring him home. I wont get the letter book, it is way to easy. The math is perfect for what he will need.
Wednesday we only had about an hour of work time since we had milk pickup. (Every other Weds we will have an hour, but still do reading, math facts etc in the car.) In our hour at home, we did a spelling pre-test, worked on grammar by writing dictated sentences with the proper nouns. We did the science worksheet on levers and the kids also watched the Disney Imagineering video on levers and pulleys while I made lunch.
In the car on the way to get our milk and groceries-we picked up some math facts to music at the library, and counted backward from one hundred. Sylvie gave the farmer the money for the milk and helped me find what we needed at the store.

Monday September 10th
Started at 9am with the student prayer/devotionals as usual. Looked up Acts 24:6 in the real bible. talked about the footnotes and how to find ch and verse in the bible, looked at the table to contents and how to find the chapters by page number quickly. I will add this to our daily routine because it is good to know.
Faith and Life- reviewed Ch 1 and did pop quiz: Who made you? Who is God? Where is God? Does God know everything? I gave her a 95% which she was not happy with but I said we don't have to be perfect! Read chapter 2 in Faith and Life about the trinity. Great chapter! Vocab- Trinity and Mystery.
Math- we did the actual lesson from Friday, so lesson 4. I learned you can't do a math lesson in the parked car very well and all we actually accomplished on Friday was the worksheet. So today we did the lesson. Adding doubles 1+1=2, 2+2+4 etc. Used tiles to see how the piles are equal and even. Also did LOTS of counting backwards and need to do more! Worked on above, below, right and left and diagonal of numbers on our big hundred chart. Used manipulative single cubes to hide numbers on the paper hundred chart to find what numbers I covered. We reviewed time; Half past, writing digital time, saying verbal time, and writing all the different ways.
10:30- some jump rope and veggies and hummus!
Sylvie chose to do Science next: Read about inclined planes and levers. Read the page on the tools from Explore and learn book. We hammered a nail into a board and pulled it out, then moved the fulcrum of the hammer closer to the nail and felt that it was easier to pull out. Also opened a can of peaches using the pull-top and talked about where was the fulcrum and lever was on the can lid. Dug in the garden with a trowel to see how that tool made it easier to dig. Finished at 11:15. This was GREAT!
Reading- read the poem Washing form the Book of Virtues on page 41. Sylvie will do more reading of Winnie the Pooh classic text for rest time. Chapters 8-10.
Spelling- super easy words for her again- up and in words. She did the worksheet and I offered her a choice to either write down all the rest of the words or a verbal quiz. she happily chose the verbal quiz and got them all right. Worked on handwriting a bit on the worksheet.
Grammar- More practice on titles of respect. Did the worksheet. Finished all work by 11:30
Recorder- After LOTS of struggling with the fingering last week, she somehow got it perfect right away today!! Go figure! Read page 8 and learned note B and can play both well! Way to go US!!
Pics to follow!
Reading about levers
working on the can pop-top
hammered in a nail and using the lever to pull it out. tried moving the fulcrum to see where it was easiest to pull it out.
