3rd day of school- September 6th, 2012

Start 915- (ran to library to pick up books on Roman civilization that were on hold for our trip to Roper Mountain Super Saturday  this weekend)

Sept. 6 devotional, student prayer, worked on the Memorare and what the vocab words mean.

Math- calendar, weather, counting forward and backward, did worksheet 3.  telling time to the hour. We also worked on math flashcards- half past, quarter past the hour and writing down the time.

Reading- Devotional Stories ch. 2.  St. Edmund Campion - vocabulary- seminary, sacrifice, disguise

Grammar- more capital letters, we did page 4 instead of reviewing page 3, but now I see that the topic of capital letters relates to the next faith and life story.  lesson learned to not work ahead.

Spelling- 15/15 words correctly on spelling test!

Handwriting- Copying sentences neatly.

Geography- colored and labeled map geography of North America. Read about Omar from Cancun and Nicole from L.A. in the D.K. children from around the world book.  These are very cool books!
